Monster Elk mount Finished ( Charlies Taxidermy)
« on: April 24, 2010, 06:19:05 PM »
Just got this bad boy finished up this past week. This bull is on a Semi-sneak off set shoulder form, and is the biggest form I could get in that series to fit this big cape. This is a genetically altered bull bull if you must know  :chuckle: It gross scores 413. Enjoy the pics!

I wish I would have straightened out my mounting stand a little better, I didnt realize it was crooked when I took the pics in between rain storms but I guess they got the job done. Thanks guys!

Looks great.  Those horns look like sheds.  Were they just that light when he shot the animal?  If it were me, I think I'd play with staining them some.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Farm bulls have lighter antlers generally I think.

No staining as per customer  ;) I would have colored them up personally  ;)

Thanks for the compliments!
